So the first ingredient for this best chocolate fudge recipe afterschool treat is ice cream. Then, we’re going to add one scoop of protein. This is all about healing your gut and healing your brain and it is definitely a delicious protein.

Next, I’m just going to add some cocoa powder, some dark organic cocoa powder, and that’s it. Three ingredients and we’re going to be using our immersion blender here, which is also comes with the food processor and we’re going to blend it up so certainly you could make more than one serving at a time.

Right now I’m just making one serving and we’re just going to dish this up and that’s how quick it is. So you realize ice cream is really not a nutritious food. It’s really just a treat and because we can recognize it as summer treats, maybe once or twice a year treat, then that’s okay.

But when I start adding in the nutrition that I just did this much protein in one serving, I have just changed the protein content to over 15 grams in this serving now and then the cocoa powder.

Well that just makes it delicious. Okay, so here we have some delicious chocolate protein ice cream. It’s our afterschool treat. You can feel good about serving it to your kids. And yes – this is not your traditional fudge recipe because it’s much healthier than that!

It tastes yummy. They will not complain at all that you have added a good protein to it, but that is always going to depend on the protein as well. You could actually swap out the Ice Cream for yogurt and that would add more value, more nutritious value. The protein powder is definitely a bang for this and it helps you to feel good at with serving it.
