Some of you may be wondering if eggs are healthy or harmful to eat while pregnant. The answer is HEALTHY (when cooked all the way, of course)! Eggs not only contain lots of high quality protein but the egg yolks are full of healthy cholesterol and omega-3 fatty acids, this is important for your baby’s developing brain.

4. Go Nuts!
Almonds, walnuts, peanuts, pine nuts and hazelnuts are all highly recommended for pregnant women. They contain the best healthy unsaturated fatty acids, riboflavin, iron, folate, magnesium, protein and vitamin E. They are an excellent snack to keep nearby.

5. Yogurt
Yogurt is a great source of protein, calcium and probiotics. Protein we know is important for building up muscle while pregnant for yourself and baby!
